Mike Bonem has been a consultant and coach for churches, judicatories, and businesses for 20 years. He is the president of Kingdom Transformation Partners, which provides consulting services and leadership development forums for first and Second Chair leaders. Mike is the co-author of Leading Congregational Change: A Practical Guide for the Transformational Journey and Leading Congregational Change Workbook. His work focuses primarily on leadership training, congregational assessment, vision discernment, and implementation planning. He obtained his M.B.A. degree, with distinction, from Harvard Business School in 1985, after having obtained a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Rice University in 1981. Mike began his career as a business strategy consultant with McKinsey and Company, and has worked with a variety of corporations and executives in the areas of strategic planning, organizational design, and change leadership.
Mike is also a Second Chair leader at West University Baptist Church in Houston, where he serves in the role of Minister of Discipleship. Prior to this, he has served local churches in a variety of lay leadership roles. Mike and his wife Bonnie have been married for over 20 years and have four children.

Roger Patterson has been in vocational ministry for eleven years, serving as a student pastor for six years. Roger graduated from Houston Baptist University in 1995 with a degree in Speech Communication and Christianity and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received his Master of Divinity in 1998. He is nearing the completion of a Doctor of Ministry degree, also from Southwestern.
Roger is a Second Chair Leader, having served West University Baptist Church for the past eight years, starting in the role of Minister to Students. He has been the Associate Pastor since January of 1999 with a variety of duties, including staff and facility administration, strategic planning, construction management, and preaching/teaching responsibilities. Since January of 2005, Roger has taken on additional responsibilities of preaching each week at one of the two campuses of West University Baptist Church.
Roger has been married to his wife, Julee, for ten years and they have two sons, Brady Jackson (4) and Cooper Grayson (1). He enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
